Welcome to the new Android Faithful website, home for the podcast, newsletters, articles, reviews and more!
Something pretty spectacular happened last year when we launched the Android Faithful podcast - we heard loud and clear from a passionate, loyal group of Android fans who wanted to hear more about their favorite mobile platform. As we did the podcast weekly, collectively everyone here at AF HQ felt that we were scratching the surface of something special.
Today, we're immensely excited to share with you the next evolution for Android Faithful - our new website featuring not only the podcast but articles, reviews, news coverage and exclusive newsletters.
As we thought about what an Android Faithful website could be, we all quickly agreed that we had no intention of replicating the great work already being done by many of our friends at Android Police, Android Authority, 9to5Google, and all the other great sites covering the space. Our appreciation of those sites runs deep as we regularly reference their coverage on the podcast and hell, even Android Faithful co-host Mishaal Rahman writes for most of those sites! So how can we co-exist in and bring something meaningful to the coverage of Android, Google, Samsung and all the other players in the mobile tech world?
It didn't take long for us to settle on the fact that we're already doing it with the Android Faithful podcast! All we needed to do was to bring that energy over to the written word on the site and newsletters and expand on it. Our main mission with Android Faithful is to bring our unique perspectives and insights to what's going on in the world of Android and share it with you, our loyal Android Faithful audience, for discussion, enjoyment and overall staying informed. We're not going to be racing to break news or regurgitate specs or write the same article that you see across a million sites. No, we're going to cover Android our own way and hopefully be a positive peer to all the great organizations covering this content. We'll cite and link to our sources, we'll give credit where credit's due and hopefully expand the impact Android Faithful has on the Android community.
With that, I'd like to share with you what you can expect from the new Android Faithful website. In addition to finding the Android Faithful podcast and show notes each week, we'll be publishing an array of content that we hope you enjoy:
